Registration and Class Payment Policy
All required registration and class selection paperwork MUST be completed before the semester begins. A $25 late fee will be added to any registration paperwork or fees received after the first day of class, excluding extenuating circumstances with leadership team approval.
Respective deadlines will be posted ahead of time on the Yahoo and Facebook groups concerning this.
If the required paperwork and fees are not completed and received prior to first day of classes, all class selections by the parent and student will be forfeited and the family will be placed on the waiting list for the following semester enrollment term.
We encourage all members to respect the deadlines set by HCHC. Many events are planned to provide members with ample time to ask questions, complete forms, and make payments. A calendar of events such as field trips, and special events can be viewed on the Co-op website under the Calendar link. Notices and instructional posts are additionally sent out via the HCHC Yahoo group and Facebook page. Complying with the set deadlines allows for the Leadership team to complete behind the scenes planning, set schedules, and issue payments to teachers in a timely manner. We thank you for your cooperation.

Where do I park on Co-op days?
Please park on the Hickory Street side of the church and follow the HCHC signs to the entrance identified. We don't want to bother the church office or Preschool by entering the wrong doors. You can park on the street or in the parking lot on that side of the church.
What time do I need to arrive on Co-op days?
Please try to arrive by 8:45 a.m. it will help to give you a bit of time to settle before for morning announcements. We start announcements at 8:50 a.m. with any last minute details that have arisen or info to share, followed by the pledges to the Christian Flag, American Flag and Bible, followed by prayer. We start classes at 9 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. Please be respectful of the teachers and other classmates by arriving on time to avoid disruptions to the class.
Most times we have a family there at 8:30 a.m. setting up if you want to get there early to set up your classrooms.

Preparing your child(ren) for the first day.
A backpack or bag is helpful for your child(ren) to keep track of their stuff. Put their names on them so we know who they belong to if they are misplaced. Be sure that they have some paper, a pencil, pen and any of the supplies you may have been instructed to bring from their teachers. Remember to have them keep their schedules with them for the first couple weeks so they know where to go.
Name Tag Info
Name tags are a great way to help remember names and faces. Please have everyone in your family use a name tag - these will be on the table at the end of the hall. Teachers please drop your name tags in the “popcorn” bowl at the end of the hall before your leave. If you forget and take yours home, please bring it back with you and aim for the popcorn bucket at the end of the day. Should you need to have a replacement printed, there will be a $2.00 charge.
Coffee/Water
We make coffee each co-op morning for anyone needing it. We have a donation cup to help offset the costs or you can bring in creamer, cups, sugar container, and/or coffee during the semester. We will also have ice water and cups available for anyone wanting it - sorry, we don't have a drinking fountain upstairs. Please use the permanent marker to put names on cups each day to save cups.
Park Days
Families will often want to visit with each other and let the kids play after co-op and during the summer break so we have park days. They can be a great way to catch up with each other and let the kids unwind after attending classes. When the weather is nice, we meet after co-op dismisses at the park. Each family provides their own lunch. During the summer, we meet on Thursdays from 10:00 -12:00 for fun and fellowship. We hope to see you there!
